There are only 3 days remaining in Round 2 as it comes to a close on Saturday. With busy days coming today, tomorrow & Saturday and 4 head-to-head events (D-III Men’s Golf, D-II & D-III Women’s Golf & the Preakness Stakes) all 4 quarterfinals are still up for grabs. All 4 consolation quarterfinals are foregone conclusions at this point.
Notes from Round 2:
- The D-III Men’s Golf tournament involved a cut after yesterday’s 2nd round which will take some of the drama out of one of the tight matchups through the first two days
- There is not cut in either the D-II or D-III Women’s Golf events
- At this point, the higher seed leads in only 5 out of 8 head-to-head events excluding MegaBot, although it seems that the Randomizer was likely used in some of those 8 matchups
- There are 112 points available and another 56 possible today
