Only 2 days remain in Round 2 as it comes to a close on Saturday. With busy days today & tomorrow and 4 head-to-head events (D-III Men’s Golf, D-II & D-III Women’s Golf & the Preakness Stakes) all 4 quarterfinals are still up for grabs. All 4 consolation quarterfinals are foregone conclusions at this point.
Notes:
- D-III Men’s & Women’s Golf conclude today; D-II Women’s Golf ends and the Preakness Stakes is run on Saturday
- There are 96 points available and 112 possible today
- Saturday is a big ticket day with 468 points available and another 176 possible
- The two-day points remaining total is 564 definitely available and other 288 possible, meaning even in the matchups where there is currently a large disparity, the door is still open for comebacks
